All Rights Reserved Board Licence EoS TM4C123 Board, revision A Copyright (c) 2026 Kartikeydheer Srivastava ("the copyright holder"). All rights reserved. This board's design is not open source. It is not under the MIT Licence in the eCAD-Hardware-Products repository's LICENSE file, and this revision is not offered or contributed under that licence. "The Design" means these files of EoS TM4C123 Board in the eCAD-Hardware-Products repository: - everything in boards/eos/eos-tm4c123-board/: its KiCad project, Gerber, drill, bill-of-materials, placement, STEP and PDF files, renders and documentation; - its design file, tools/eos_boards/boards/eos_tm4c123_board.py; - tools/eos_boards/boards/owner.py and tools/eos_boards/boards/licence_terms.txt. It does not include the material listed at the end, which keeps its own terms. 1. Permission is needed. Except as sections 2 and 3 allow, no one may copy, modify, publish, distribute or sell the Design, make boards from it or have them made, or make another design from it, without the copyright holder's prior written permission, which may be given for a fee. To ask, write to kartikeydheer@gmail.com. A board made with that permission, or under section 3, may be used without further permission. 2. Viewing. Anyone may view the Design where it is published with the copyright holder's consent. They may also download or clone the repository that holds it, open its files in KiCad or another viewer to look at them, and run that repository's tests, but may not use those copies to make boards or other designs. On GitHub, users also have the rights that GitHub's Terms of Service give over public repositories, such as viewing and forking. No other right is given, except as section 3 gives EmbeddedOS. 3. EmbeddedOS. EmbeddedOS (EoS) Research Foundation ("EmbeddedOS") may, free of charge, until this permission ends (see Withdrawal below): - publish the Design, and versions of it that EmbeddedOS has changed, in its repositories and on its website for viewing, under this licence and with this notice kept; - copy and change the Design for its own projects; and - make boards from the Design or its changed versions, or have a manufacturer make them for it, and use and lend those boards for its own development, research, teaching and demonstrations. EmbeddedOS may not sell boards made from the Design, and may not give or license the Design or a changed version to anyone, except by publishing it for viewing as above and by sending a manufacturer the files it needs to make boards for EmbeddedOS. As a condition of this permission, changes EmbeddedOS makes stay under this licence, and EmbeddedOS gives the copyright holder a free, permanent, worldwide permission to use and relicense them on any terms. This permission is not exclusive, and it may not be transferred or sublicensed. Withdrawal: the copyright holder may withdraw this permission by email or letter to EmbeddedOS. It ends thirty days after that notice. By then EmbeddedOS must remove the Design and its changed versions from its current repositories and website (it need not rewrite past version history) and stop making boards. Boards made before then may still be used. 4. Other material. The material listed at the end stays under its own licence, where it has one. Nothing here limits anyone's rights in that material, and facts taken from other designs are not claimed as the copyright holder's. 5. Names. This licence gives no right in the names "EmbeddedOS" or "EoS". 6. No warranty. The Design is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In no event shall the copyright holder be liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the Design or its use. Material on this board that this licence does not cover (section 4): - BoosterPack header positions (0.1 in grid, outer headers 1.8 in apart, inner 1.6 in, pin 1 rows level) and signal assignment from TI's BoosterPack Pinout Standard (updated Sept 1, 2013) and the 40-pin figure of TI's BoosterPack Standards and Design Guide (processors.wiki.ti.com, archived 2017-11-03); used as facts only - Schematic symbols in hardware/symbols (EoS_MCU.kicad_sym): written by this repository's generator, tools/eos_boards/symbols, MIT licence - Footprints, symbols and 3D models from KiCad's libraries: CC BY-SA 4.0, with the KiCad libraries' exception for designs that use them and files generated from those designs (kicad.org/libraries/license)
