Internships & Fellowships
Internship Program Types
We offer a range of internship structures to accommodate different academic programs, visa statuses, and career stages.
Paid Internships
Subject to project funding availability. Compensation is provided for qualifying roles.
Unpaid Internships
Available where permitted by applicable law. Participants receive certificates, mentorship, and recommendation letters.
Research Internships
Collaborate on active research projects in edge AI, neural interfaces, embedded security, and more.
Open Source Internships
Contribute to EmbeddedOS GitHub repositories under mentorship of core maintainers.
Capstone / Academic Project
Partner with the Foundation on your university capstone or thesis project.
F-1 CPT Internships
Curricular Practical Training for F-1 students. Requires CPT authorization from your DSO.
F-1 OPT Internships
Optional Practical Training for F-1 students. Standard OPT (12 months) and STEM OPT extension (24 months) accepted.
J-1 Intern / Trainee Programs
J-1 Exchange Visitor programs where program sponsor requirements are met.
